This is a image of a "mushroom", this is quite a crisp image. I choose this image as i was aiming to remake a mushroom image like Edward Weston's mushroom image, and i wanted to give it good visual elements. I edited this image by changing the colours to black and white on photoshop. by editing the photo it has improved it by highliting the lines from the centre of the photograph.
This image is called "shell", although this image isn't one like Edward Weston it is in his style as i have changed the image by turning it into black and white on photoshop. I was aiming to achieve a sharp image which is focused on the shell with a shadow in the background. This has improved the photograph by making the background blurry and the foreground (the shell) sharp and crisp.
This image is called"big shell", I choose this image as i wanted to make it look like the cabbbage which Edward Weston took a photograph of. i edited this photograph by using photoshop to make it black and white. I was aiming to achieve this image to make it look like a cabbage leaf as much as i could as i wanted to make the picture look like it was in the Edward Weston style. it has improved the photograph by shining the light on the shell and to make the background really dark.
"shiny shell", the reason why i called this image shiny shell because it is very shiny and looks very clear so it highlights the shell, but in the background it is very dark. I edited this photo on photoshop to make the photograph black and white like Edward Weston's photograph's.I was aiming to achieve to make this image like Edward weston's even though he didn't take one of a shiny shell.This has improved the photograph by making it sharp and crisp in the foreground but dark in the background

I chose to edit this photo as it has interesting composition and the effect of leading lines. I edited this photograph on photoshop to change it into black and white and changed the lightness/darkness of the colours separately. I was aiming to achieve to make this photograph be a Edward Weston style photo. This has improved the photograph by making the flowers stand out more than their stalks as their brightness is even lighter.
I chose to edit this photo as it has good visual elements like depth of field. I edited this photograph by going on Photoshop and changing the different colours to black and white separately. I was aiming to achieve a photograph which had good visual elements like depth of field as i stated earlier on in this analysis. This edit has improved the original photograph as the stalks look more interesting and blends in with the glass bottle.
I chose to edit this photo as it had an discrete reflection from the bottle. I edited this photo by going on Photoshop and changed the different colours separately depending on their light and darkness. I was aiming to achieve a photograph with some sharp flowers which were sharp and crisp but have an interesting reflection. This has improved the photograph by highlighting the flowers at the top of the bottle with black and white editing on photoshop.

I edited this photograph by changing the black an d white of the individual colours on photoshop. I was aiming to achieve to highlight the flowers sharpness and crispness by using black and white. This has improved the photo by highlighting the flowers extremely and making this photograph stand out from all the others.

From studying Edward Weston, i have developed my use of lighting and highlighting textures, but i think i have developed mostly on how to edit on photoshop so that i can improve my photographs.
