On this photograph, the black and white really affects where the focus point is, the centre flower is the main focus but it makes you look at the edges of the leaf instead.

This photograph also really emphasis's the edges of the leaf, this is because of the light edges with the darker background.

This is like the other two, but only this uses more of the Rule Of Thirds, this is because on the bottom right corner there is a leaf which looks like a part has been burnt off and left a hole but in the middle there is also a focus point, this is a very interesting and effective photograph.

There's always something in the hot spot, like the ear, hair, rocks or sky. This really shows the Rule Of Thirds. The photograph is portrait. The ear is on the foreground, the stones are in the middle and the rocks and sky is in the background. Your eyes are slowly led up from the ear to the rock. the stones are look as if they have a complex pattern. The photographer has used a black and white filter which really emphasis's the tones and shadows.
